    Looking forward to Smackdown

Friday, December 5, 2008, 09:11 AM EST [Wrestling]

Well, I am definitely looking forward to Smackdown tonight. Tonight's main event is The Big Show vs the Undertaker in a STeel Cage. Oh Boy, make this feud STOP please! LOL  I believe HHH and Jeff Hardy are in some gauntlet match of some sort. There is going to be a Diva match tonight also. Of course, you should by now figure out why I am looking forward to Smackdown tonight.  TO see Edge in action in a squash match against Kung Fu Naki!! Oh wow. I don't care. I get to see Edge in action. :)  I believe according to spoilers there is a backstage segment also with him and Vickie or something. :)

Oh, if you can, on this site and on others there is a great article about him, Natalya and Rocky Johnson about their helping out at the food bank yesterday. Edge mentioned about how he is getting back into ring shape and such.

Since I haven't Posted one in days...

Friday, December 5, 2008, 09:08 AM EST [General]

I guess it's time to shoot...I liked what raw did by having the bad guys team up and beat up cena...however Jericho will not end up joining them for more then a week...They should form a group with Jericho, Orton, JBL, and Team Priceless...However if they do, TNA fans will whine and complain that they are trying to still ideas from The main Event Grandpas...Smackdown has no more OMG factor because it's taped and everything is leaked before it goes on the air...Edge is my favorite guy but thats when he was on raw and you never knew what was gonna happen...When jeff was beat up before the PPV everyone already read online edge is back...So the minor thing the wwe did to shock a few people was put the belt on him...I really don't know how they can do it but the wwe needs to do their Raw,ECW, and smackdown shows live...Years back you could tape it because the internet/cell phones weren't what they are today...How can you push the limits and give shocking or stunning storylines if when i turn on smackdown on friday nights and I know everything is gonna happen?? Is this just me? Does anyone else hate the fact they can know whats gonna happen before the show even airs?

I wish I could keep in mind that...

    Friday, December 5, 2008, 11:07 AM [General]

    Today's thought from Hazelden is:

I wish I could keep in mind that God can provide, God will provide, and God does provide.
    -- Marie Gubbels

Relying on God for the guidance to deal with our problems seems much too simple. We probably spent decades looking to alcohol, other drugs, and relationships for the solution to the ache that never left. We didn't know then that God was waiting in the wings for our prayers. Even knowing it, as we do now, hasn't prevented us from looking for help elsewhere, time and again. It has never been our nature to keep our lives simple. However, we are getting more practiced at the simpler life since becoming a part of this recovery program.

We may need to choose, daily, to believe that God can, will, and does provide for our every need. Because most of us haven't had a life-changing spiritual experience, we must decide every day to look to God. Fortunately, a moment of quiet and a tiny prayer is all that we need to do. God is never more than a thought away.

I will practice my reliance on God at every turn of events today. I believe I will receive guidance and knowledge concerning how to proceed next.

    I'm So Excited!

    Friday, December 5, 2008, 11:03 AM [General]

I am so excited!  I have gone shopping and purchased new Christmas ornaments (I gave my oldest son all of mine before I moved, except for a few "special ones"), and bought new lights, and we are going to get a real tree!  I have not had a Christmas tree since 2002, and I cannot wait!

I put up my beautiful manger set, set out all my Angels and snowman, and it's "beginning to look a lot like Christmas"!  I tell you it is very strange preparing for the Holiday when it is in the 70's, but I love it!

I work from home, and I am sitting here listening to my Christmas playlist, and I tell you, it doesn't get any better than this! :-)

My youngest may be coming down with his girlfriend, if her mother allows.  I have given that one up to God and am working hard on not having any expectations.  I may not see any of my children this year.  Acceptance is the key....

All in all, life is wonderful, and I am very grateful to God for my sobriety and my serenity.

Have a day!  Good or bad...it's up to you!

    Love, hugs & blessings...Sharon

    Living and Breathing for Today

    Friday, December 5, 2008, 10:58 AM [General]

Upon awakening...oh wait a minute that's the opening to my favorite paragraph. So let me try it this way. After being rudely awaken from a sound sleep by my little furball of a dog; so she could go out for her "morning constitutional" I have that first chance in that morning walk to breathe in the wonderful morning air and feel the beginning of the warmth of the morning sun..You get to do that in southwest Florida. Here the mornings are a mix of salt air, burnt oranges (from the Tropicana orange juice plant) and a hint of crispness. Aaaahh! such a good feeling, instantly the day starts off on the right foot with a walk and breathing. Surrounded by blue skies, palm trees, and lush plants and flowers. The sound of the birds, the ducks around my complex's lake and the sound of people's days beginning. It is quite the sensory morning overload...and I would have it anyother way.

Even though I have never been a "morning person," let's face it the best thing about morning is that it is over at noon, I can appreciate the world around me. I do enjoy maybe not so much the day as I do moments. I live for moments and I try to appreciate each moment as it comes. I take in moment like I take in paintings, and music, or maybe good book.

Moment are the building blocks to a much greater story, just like the pages of a good read. Everyday has its own twists and turns...the plot thickens, maybe suspense grows...maybe its just a day of dialogue and metaphysics.  Quiet reflection laced with moments dedication.

But for everyone the day begins the same way...Upon Awakening.

LBD - Which Dress Should I Wear?

Friday, December 5, 2008, 08:47 AM EST [General]

WOW, thank goodness it's Friday! It's going to be a great weekend.

First things first, be sure to wish Toby a happy birthday, it's tomorrow!

Lots going on this weekend in terms of football. Tonight's the Maryland state high school football championship game at M&T Stadium up in Baltimore. Sherwood and Linganore are both undefeated and only one can win. I don't follow high school sports but I think it's been a long time since Sherwood went to states, the last time was probably back when I was a freshmen.

Tomorrow is the big Army Navy game up in Philly. We went last year when it was in Baltimore, but we didn't get tickets for the game this year. We'll be at home watching and all decked out in our Navy gear. Go Navy, Beat Army!

And of course Sunday is the Redskins and Ravens game. I won't be watching since I'll be shopping but we'll be with my sister who is a Ravens fan, she went to school with Flaco at Delaware.

Wow, 3 stories about football, I must be sick.

Like I said I'm going shopping Sunday. I'm looking for my dress to wear next Friday to Little Black Dress.

Here are my fave 7, some of these I already have, but don't know which I should either buy or wear.

    Dress #1

    Dress #2

    Dress #3

    Dress #4

    Dress #5

    Dress #6

    Dress #7

So which one will it be? You help me decide:

I hope you have a great weekend!

    XOXO

    Christmas shopping

    Friday, December 5, 2008, 07:43 AM [General]

I am just about done Christmas shopping.  It's not what normally happens I'm usually out Christmas Eve night grabbing whatever is left to fill the stockings for the kids.  But I'm about done. Now I have to wrap. I didn't wrap as I went along and now I regret that. AHHHH.

I forgot about my comcast bill (comcast don't read this) but I think giving to my family is more imporant I figure a way to pay that bill.  Maybe do some extra work here and there. Heck I have until the 23rd right?

I think the phone and ele companies should make Dec forgiveness month. Give people the month off and let you just pay extra each month until your Dec bill is paid. See what about us who don't get nice Christmas bonuses, that get a turkey or a bottle of wine... or those that don't work outside the home. We be screwed.  We still have to stretch our money, pay our bills and have Christmas.  Maybe it's me. My brother doesn't have extra money so he just announced I won't be giving anyone a gift.  That's not how I roll.. I love buying for others .. it just wouldn't be Christmas.. and comcast is just gonna have to understand HAHAHA Right?

Going to go read some blogs and make some friends on this thing.

    Have a good day!

    necrofilia como parafilia

Friday, December 5, 2008, 08:40 AM EST [General]

    Resident Evil 5 Demo (Japanese)

    Friday, December 5, 2008, 07:38 AM [Gaming Review's]

OKay so today was/is December 5th and the demo launched in Japan only on Xbox Live no PSN however.

It released at about 18:30 pm Tokyo time.

The results well pretty cool but a bit tricky as the Japanese controles of the Previous games confuse me much like this so What ever you read here its prob little dif from RE than BH.

For instant Biohazard 1-3 the action button is Square and Run was X or so this is what i felt like here on RE 5 Japanese Demo.

First off Id like to say that this was a demo and there may have been bugs I havent encounted all of them didnt have much time..

Only thing I dont like is it is doing what Dead Rising is doing...

You have to change the settings on your console other wise when Playing there are lines like its tearing the screen if your settings are at 1080p but the game runs at 720p not higher.. so just lower them if your TV does this I dont expect all TV's to do this.

    As shown above.

The demo was really small So small that It was 472.5MB Big.

    OKay that clear.

The Game funny enought came out to be in english text.. Much to my suprise was another JAPANESE demo so I figure that the Game detects your langage settings.

    Here is the main menu's

As You can see there will be LeaderBoards and Records which Im not sure what it is exactly my Guess of the Library is the files you pick up in the game much like the series.

Lets look at the 4 types of controls you can choose from (note the demo defult was type D which had strifing had to changed to the old school ones cause No thanks )

There is also a Setting for langages.

Such as Japanese, English, Dutch, French, Spanish and Italian.

See my photos and Resident Evil goodies for those.

Right the Demo does indeed have two sections to play with just like Famitsu told us but disapointlingly enough its not much to show much of the story but is enough to check the game out.. the One part is the E3 demo.

While Playing I noticed the Cinematics were.. odd as they were widescreen within a Widescreen.. which is sort of stupid the game tho is not like this.

The Game plays well BUT it is very much sounds like RE4 sound effects and plays close to it.

There is tho a pop up nemu ike Dead Space where your menu to change weapons and use items is all in real time this gives more tention to the game I do admit as Dead Space prooved that but you can over come these easly.

I did find that Sheva will help you when you get attacked and you to have a optinon for this while playing.

Herbs are back but a little different.

Ammo well its distributed just like RE4.

GOLD COINS are to be picked up so we have merchants again..

much like RE4 eh? Well old news I guess.

Co-Op wise I couldn't play I kept getting this but i reckon it could be my line? or they blocked none Japan lines..

    Files you pick up

Split Screen Co-Op is in fact there

But Its silly to have it side to side no?

and there is no settings to change it.

Here is sheva ..which I cannot shoot

So basicaly You cannot shoot your team ..mate so no team kill.

If You Loss your partner there is a button for it L1 or LB and it will direct you to that person with a Map and Location

    Final Note

Sheva is Left Handed I think (look how she aims)

    OKAY

this was a Quick Review but think of it as a Preview of the demo of Biohazard 5

THANKS Take care and BY George Lets get rocking!!!

This Blog was done by Ouji-San

Photos were taken with a Kodak Camera on a Samsung HDTV the game ran at 720p

    100% RESPONSIBLE

    Friday, December 5, 2008, 07:36 AM [General]

The mass illusion of my so-called life or LOVE-NOW… that is the question…It’s gets down to this: it’s all about me … total responsibility: what do I want and how much do I want it.

Fear or love; hostage or host… my choice… my total responsibility!!! It’s just about turning to spirit in any form I think I  find myself in and letting it rip... expressing however. It’s not like love cares, after all. I am all too familiar with catching myself with my proverbial ego pants -down', acting out the very drama I designed to delude myself into believing I was ‘doing spirituality/life the right way’ … as if… only to find myself back feeling ashamed and guilty. The attraction to guilt is a huge obstacle and one seemingly hard-wired into my little illusory brain.  It shows up in the most bazaar ways like not wanting to do anything, see people, make any kind of commitments, and procrastinate, yada yada. Blah, blah… I feel the stirring of spirit, and then let fear immobilize me, talking time and space as if…

“FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, NO LONGER SEEK FOR UNION IN SEPARATION, NOR FOR FREEDOM IN BONDAGE…” As I release so will I be released… this is the only way to the experience of the perfect love of which I am.

It’s all my mind. It is the mind of God that I am serving… of nothing at all… so I am pretending or being. Nothing is happening until I decide to be truly helpful. I am only helpful in the right mind... It is my total freedom and my total responsibility. I stand in this place, being present. Here, Now. That’s all.

If I am not showing up for this one responsibility; this one life, the one I share with God, it is because fear has replace love in my mind…and correction is necessary befor anything can happen.

The correction of fear is my responsibility! When I am afraid it is a sign that I have raised bodily thoughts to the level of the mind. What I must do is cop to the truth of the situation and call it what it is. It is merely a question of what I want. I simply become aware of when I become afraid. Stop. Remember; I am responsible for what I think. There are no idol thoughts. So if I am afraid I have forgotten who I am. By acknowledging this, I take responsibility and then I can ask Jesus for a correction. The correction to right-mindedness or Love is guaranteed, and a certain as God is now…

    lesson 340 reflections

Friday, December 5, 2008, 07:35 AM [Reflections on ACIM workbook l]

    Lesson 340:

I can be free of suffering today….

There is a flow, like water; to this section of lessons… It is the steady, gentle awareness of our choice to no longer serve guilt but to allow for all the defenses and make-believe that held its value in place, to be dispersed into the tranquil rousing that forgiveness brings. What is apparent now, here, as we gaze with Christ’s vision is all the beauty which was always present, but which our faith in guilt concealed. It is here, we have the chance of recognizing the Son of God; to look and see the face of Christ.

The freedom from suffering is the change of mind from dreams of guilt to happy dreams. This is the choice takes the place of the formerly worshiped ‘idol’ of guilt and its dwindling reign in mind. ‘Choose once again’, the Course tells us again and again…

Today’s lesson says we can, today, choose forever to let go of suffering and allow the flow of love forgiveness brings…freely…

We decide one simple thing; we do not want whatever we believe an idol gives. For thus the Son of God declares that he is free of idols. And thus he is free…

I am, indeed, free of suffering today; for I am as God created me. This choice exposes the madness of following guilt’s chosen path as a way of life…. Appearances can but deceive the mind that wants to be deceived. There is no meeting place for the peace of God and guilt. Forgiveness allows for the dance of suffering to be seen for what it is: guilt is the one and only cause of pain, no matter what it seems to look like. And the peace forgiveness brings makes it so we are no longer enticed by guilt’s pretentious, hopeless allure.

Choose freedom instead of suffering and through this choice, see what was previously invisible (due to the desire not to see, per guilt’s wishes). The idea of salvation is viable at last. This one choice is the decision to expose the false; not so much running from the make believe toys in the idol dream, but rather deciding against their reality, which was only kept alive by deception. It is the decision to let the truth be true. I love what the Course says in the section in the text called Beyond All Idols where it states:

“Salvation is a paradox indeed! What could it be except a happy dream? It asks you but that you forgive all things that no one ever did; to overlook what is not there, and not to look upon the unreal as reality. You are but asked to let your will be done, and seed no longer for the things you do not want. And you are asked to let yourself be free of all the dreams of what you never were and seek no more to substitute the strength of idle whishes for the Will of God… No more than this is asked… salvation asks for nothing in reality. And even in illusions it but asks forgiveness be the substitute for fear Such is the only rule for happy dreams”…

To “let all things be exactly as they are” is another way of stating the running theme of these later lessons in the Course… as a matter of fact, that is what the Course says… “No rules are idly set, and no demands are made of anyone or anything to twist and fit into the dream of fear. Instead, there is a wish to understand all things created as the really are. And it is recognized that all things must be first forgiven, and then understood…. The real world is the state of mind in which the only purpose of the world is seen to be forgiveness.”…

The peace of God flows naturally as all attachment to guilt are let go, now… Feel it! Right Now!

~I can be free of suffering today~

Ah, God’s plan for salvation rocks! There’s simply nowhere to turn that doesn’t lead back to the yummy presence of God’s Love; always, already, forever, present… now that’s a groovy present, yes?
